This is the first time I've tried editing this file. I've been reading the "readmepf" file and it says you can see higher quality clouds by editing the TypeClouds= line in the game section of the file. Anyway, when I open the config file and go through the entire list I don't see any TypeCloud= line anywhere?! Any ideas? Also, I noticed a line that says, "HighGore=0" in the game section. I'm guessing that if properly edited you may be able to see blood on the canopy of planes whos pilots have been shot. Is this true and does anyone know the proper values to type into this line.

If I remember right the "TypeCloud=1" goes into the <game> section in the .ini, the "HighGore=" has no effect on the FB line of games, it had effect on the original IL2 Sturmovik.

iirc TypeClouds=1 is default, you only need it if you want to use the old clouds (null value),
HighGore works only in the russian version of the game, but not on all types.

I always wonder about people who feel the need to see blood.

Right... is always better to see bubs.
