Yes.
You will be able to order both simultaneously however once that the shop is ready for this (early December).

Stupid question - has there been any info about what playable vehicles will be in the beta?

There are no changes from 2.328 in this respect.

Three weeks and still waiting... *sniff*

For more than a week I've been sending prayers to various deities before opening my mailbox. I'm currently contemplating sacrificing my neighbour's cat to speed up the delivery process.

I guess it doesn't really help if I tell you that Germany is especially notorious for erratic delivery times ranging from under a week to more than six. In any case, contact me if four weeks are over and I'll arrange a replacement package.

Thanks Ssnake, I'm sure I'll get it before the weekend.

Else the cat gets it.

As of yesterday I'm finally the proud owner of a copy of Steel Beasts Pro PE. Had to get it from the customs office where the package seems to have been stuck for a least a week, but I won't complain.

Played through a dozen tutorial missions yesterday evening and I have to say I'm completely stunned by the quality of this sim. It runs extremely well on my aging system and looks absolutely terrific! I can't emphasize this enough: the game looks incredibly realistic. The colours, the haze, it's unbelievable how close the terrain ingame comes to the look of the world outside my window. And the sounds! Simply among the best I've ever heard in a sim. Again, it just sounds right.

And I haven't even started about the core of the game: the simulation of tanks. In one word: incredible.

Also, the dongle copy protection worked without problems, a nice change from some of the copy protection schemes used by other companies lately.

To say my 1st impression would be "favourable" would be a tremendous understatement.

One small question though: is it possible to zoom in/out of the external F8 view?

the N key is the default key to use.

Just found out that while "replaying" a scenario I can use N and M to zoom in and out in "outside" view. But that doesn't work in the normal F8 mode. When I press N in F8-view I get a max-zoomed-in view without the vehicle, M doesn't do anything.

Me confused.
