Hi

Wonder any of you use the x52 pro for AF Falcon. If you do, can you share your profile? I don't seem to be able to configure the mouse/ministick as the radar cursor. I went intothe controller setup screen in AF and select Saitek X52 pro flight controller for cursor x and y. However when I click detect, nothing happens. In the SST profile editor, I have made the ministick as x and y axis instead of mouse.

Any help would be welcomed.

Igorry

I have a X45 which is almost the same...

You should assign the arrow keys to the ministick in your STT software. So that if you move the mini stick left, the radar cursor moves left and so on.

I find that more easy than using the axes inside Falcon, because the axes intend to "overshoot". The axes i use is for Radar antenna elevation and DSB declutter.

If you want to assign the axes in Falcon however, you must select "detect" and the move the axes a bit.

Hope this helps.

Igorry,
If your looking for a *.pr0 file,
I wrote a Basic profile just to get ppl started.

It features:
TMS
Mini Stick Cursor
ACM Radar sub modes with pitch latter. (Some ppl wanted to keep the latter)

No shifting or modes programmed.

It uses box stock "keystrokes" key file. I did have to change the Wpn-Fire gun to Saitek button 15 (second trigger).

Check your PM for download. Let me know if it works ok and I'll try to get someone to host it.

---------------------------------------------MAP-------------------------------------------
Button A: View 3D (tap), View 2D (hold for 1 second) This was programmed as "new advance command".

Button B: Air to Ground mode and cycle weapons.

Button C: Air to Air Mode, cycle weapons (tap), Nav mode (hold for 1 second) This was programmed as "new advance command".

Button D: Air Brakes Toggle.

Button E: Un-cage.

Mini Stick: cursor.

Mouse Fire: Right MFD Button 3. Norm/EXP view for weapon page and HSD.

Wheel Button: not programmed.

Wheel Up: Antenna Up.

Wheel Down: Antenna Down.

Precision Slide: ACM sub modes on/off Program as "new macro..."

Hat 1: FOV

Hat 2: up, down, right TMS. Left: glance forward in 3D.

Hat 3: down=Padlock next Air target, up=Padlock next Ground target, right=cycle right MFD (DMS ->), left=Norm/EXP/DBS1&2 radar modes. Left MFD button 3.

Toggles 1-6: not programmed.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will look into them and experiment with the SST program.

Would someone PM me that profile as well. I can't seem to figure it out and I'd like to use the mouse stick for the cursor as well.

Thanks

1. Select Bands
2. create 3 Bands
3. click equal sapce bands
4. map top and bottom box to arrow keys, middle box is dead zone.
5. have to do both x and y axies. x is left/right y is up/down.

good luck...there might be a manual ate Saitek, I have not d/l it yet.

Your system for the mouse hat works great.
