Ah, might as well bump it up a bit since everyone is still speculating....
It's done and just sitting on the shelf until the legal stuff is worked out.

Doesn't Lock On have Starforce on it? LockOn doesn't have Starforce as far as I know. That's v1.02, the CD version. The Flaming Cliffs addon, which is v1.1 and only available online (either as download or CD, I'm not sure), does have StarForce though. Flaming Cliffs mainly indtroduces a new model of Sukhoi ground-attack aircraft, a bit more modern than the Su-25 in the original, and the new aircraft has a very nicely-made flight model - check out the videos showing what happens when bits start falling off...

FC is a great Su-25/T sim. However, the US planes are still at a lower level of fidelity.

Original LockOn one of my all time favorites and still holds up to modern standards, I think.
I own FC, but the SF in it messed up my computer twice (fool me once ...) -- uninstalled.
I am back to using the original LockOn v1.02 -- no SF, does not need disk in drive -- at least mine doesn't. No problems and well worth installing.

Instead of "how about we close the forum" how about we "not open a forum 10 years before the game is released" if only it were possible

Well, I don't know when or if it's coming - but the lack of information makes me feel like one of those Monty Python morons with handkerchiefs on their heads and too short pants... I bet that someone in Russia is laughing at us fools going on and on, waiting like deranged cult members for the return of our absent god. Let's make a bronze bull symbolizing Oleg!

Oh, poxy ol' England - turns out that all of our TV shows are remade in England, judging by BBC America. Can't you guys show some originality?
The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events. More dumb stuff at http://www.darts-page.comFrom Laser: "The forum is the place where combat (real time) flight simulator fans come to play turn based strategy combat."
