Anybody have the add on to CFS3 called Aircraft Power Pack? It's by Shockwave & was just wondering about personal experiences.

Aircraft Power Pack isn't really a 'new' CFS-3 add-on. One half of APP is the "FirePower" expansion and a bonus flyable P-51D for CFS-3 that is basically the first Shockwave Wings of Power Mustang that was built for FS2004 and recently recoded and given a damage model so it could be used in CFS-3.

The new CFS-3 Mustang still had bugs in January, the last time I played it. Shockwave released a .zip file that was supposed to fix problems like no wheel brakes, but the .zip file had the wrong .air file in it and using it only caused CTDs. I haven't been back to the Shockwave forums since then, but only because I've been on the road for two months and I don't have CFS-3 or FS2004 with me.

The other half of APP is "Wings of Power: Heavy Bombers and Jets" for FS2004 and FSX. APP is a great value for this alone because as recently as only last summer, Amazon.com vendors were charging approx. $80 USD for "Heavy Bombers and Jets"! APP includes an unadvertised bonus: The Wings Of Power II P-51D as a flyable. This is the same plane that Shockwave has as a Solo download for $15 (as I recall) and that was on the "Wings of Power II: WWII Fighters" CD-ROM.

Both sides of Aircraft Power Pack installed fine for me, no complaints here.
