Bugs (using 1.9 and WUT 1.90):
Using mouselook for FLIR/ LLTV / periscope in KA52 is broken. All other choppers work fine, in KA52 when you try to pan when zoomed in the screen jumps hundreds of metres to either side. It's like it's using the same scale of movement when fully zoomed in as when zoomed out.

Also, in any chopper, sometimes you can plainly see enemy ground targets in FLIR/ LLTV / scope but cannot get the computer to recognise it as a target. There is not anything in the way, you are inside the range of the missile in good weather..... but no lock.
Why can't we just aim the missile where the laser is pointing in this situation (without being locked onto the target)?

Shift + Tab makes the rotor come to a stop, and then spin up again. It isn't covered in the latest keyguide, and afaik it has been like this since 1.0 release.

I can't find any way to make it useful... \:\)

Using stabilised eo system :
Whenever the south direction (180 degrees) gets crossed the view jumps away from the current position.
When crossing in eastern direction it`ll jump to 60 degrees, when crossing in western direction it`ll jump to 300 degrees.
It doesn`t matter where I`m actually looking at before the crossing, so itīs not that I crossed any TADS angular restrictions. Pointing at 160 degrees and banking to 181 will still give me a look at 300 degrees...

But still it`s miracle magic...

Also when using TADS as secondary targeting device it seems there are no angular restrictions, at least no vertical ones. Range keys also don`t get accepted, with or without Numpad on.

DTV on both MFDs. Should that be possible?

I tried to bring up FLIR and DTV at the same time on both MFDs, but I didn't succeed.

Hello,

The mouse cursor in the menu and map screen shows up sqeezed horizontally with a red "shadow" along the left edges of it with the 32bit=1 in eech.ini. Tried it with SLI on/off.

Most of my graphical settings are maxed out with the resolution at 1600x1200.

Moreover, the mouse is tiny in such high resolutions.

In-cockpit mouse control is fine, including the TDS in Apache.

cheers!

Found out today that in MP mission a Hellfire launched in LOAL follows a trajectory without climb straight through a mountain and still hits a target. Version 1.9.0

Helo-changing bugs:

Some settings stay with you while changing helos and others don't.
1. Rotor engage/disengage stays on.
2. MFD settings don't.

just happened to me:
hopped in comanche, started the engines, engaged rotor, tried several autorotation techniques = disengaging rotors from time to time, utlimately crached. Then, changed to a Comanche in mid-flight on route to its RP, crashed moments after that due to rotor still being disengaged!!

not directly a bug, but a nuisance:
When enginestartup=1 in eech.ini, every time I change helo Gunner MFDs are OFF and Pilot MFDs are either off or Default depending on in-flight or not...
May I recommend setting default MFD-pages in eech.ini?

Hello folks,

I've got an annoying problem that I've only managed to solve once in the last ten installs. Yes, installs have been clean, and I've even rebooted between uninstalls before trying this several times (no registry software entries). I can't get the Radar systems to work. HOME, INSERT, PAGEUP . . . nothing. This lack of functionality is present before any patching is done (although I've followed eechcentral's "installation guide" to the letter). What's weird is, I had 1.9 working fine (w/ the exeption of dynamic water) when first installing it a few days ago. I took a break from playing EECH due to frustration because I've experienced this before. THE MISTAKE - I tried to re-install because the dynamic water textures weren't working. Now, I can't get systems to work. I've got the original disk, but have also tried installing a friends copy of the game. Same results.

Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this and/or a possible solution?

Do you have your avionics settings set to realistic?

Check that, and also note that not all helicopters have radar.
