If anyone is intrerested in some F-16 pit parts, I have a bunch of panels, some with switches for sale.

It's wood. Just some strengtheners are metal.


Most of them are standard switches you can get from your local electronics store. Special toggle switches have been aquired off ebay. The rotary-caps are from Biohazard, a guy from Belgium.

Re-routed some cables to clean things up, added 12 switches to the left aft of the PT...

Great Pit! I like the utility of it. I'm starting to think that good cable routing is like keeping your sideburns well trimmed.

My F/A-18C pit..Work in progress.

The throttle base rotates out of the way to the left. The Joystick shelf attached to the Keyboard shelf slides in and out to suit and all the way out for removal. The throttle and joystick are Velcro'd down. Its a work in progress.

The desk is just some cut out plywood covered in a cheap wood flooring with file cabinets used for legs.

I drool over the simple yet beautifull and realistic way you have buildt your pit GrizzlyT..! Almost to the point of dehydration to be honest..! c",)

For god's sake, someone get this man a drink!!!
And while you're at it, I'll take a triple tequila....neat.

Seriously, thanks to all, for the kind words. Although, if this keeps up my head may get too big, to fit into my helmet.

As is typical of late, progress has been slow (This time, I'll use the holidays as an excuse.) but hopefully, I'll have some new pics to post soon!
Since the last set, I've elevated the platform, started on the electronics cabinet, made a fresnel housing, and (just recently) acquired some aluminum extrusion, to start on the frame.

.........never enough hours, in the day!
