i think best way for make pite is take base comanche and ka-52, comanche for apache, hind, havoc etc
and ka-52 for kiova forexample, but i think is very big work, i can make nothing in comp until be end user, so just can think what is best way:)

map of fort rucker would be best for combat helly sims, so could be only flight and fight with learning targets without war, so that will more realistic
i'm not pacifist, just don't love war and dont love play war either

Quite impossible. You have to have data available of that aircraft (talking blueprints). Someone has to model the 3D cockpit, which is quite a workload. And another guy has to implement all features of that aircraft.

But we have some working features already. And pictures of cockpits are relatively easy to come by..

Who is willing to model a brand new 3D cockpit? I think it consumes too much time too build. But who knows...

I would love to model and paint a hind cockpit, I have quite a lot of experience modelling cockpits. The only trouble is that I have absolutely no idea if it's possible to implement it into EECH, or how to go about doing it. If there's an active EECH programmer that wants to discuss it let me know.

Cheers

I think the cockpits are hard-coded. A programmer would need to externalize the settings, which is a lot of work.

A Hind cockpit would be sweet though.

I feel the same way, but for the Black Hawk. \:D

Why talking about a Hind cockpit, while the Apache's hasn't been modeled yet?

But Apache has a neat 2D pit ;\)
And if anyone manages to model and code full Hind's cockpit that'll mean that everything is possible. Though instrument modeling might be reduced to just one panel because it has all the basic indicators.

Think of Enemy Engaged: Hind vs. Blackhawk \:D
Or Hip vs. Blackhawk to keep odds even.

I don't fly the Apache because of that. I love realism, though I play Comanche all the time, because a 3D cockpit gives me a better realism feel, although the gunship is not "real".

I wonder would it be possible to make a 2d pit? (Just an idle curiosity, I don't have the time or skill and increasing the variety of hind armaments would take priority).

Its a nice thought though...
