Yes, he did and look who he takes the time to pay a tribute too.
It was wonderful. He has the BDG guys smiling ear to ear. Our first tribute that I can remember (but the memory goes first).

Yes, its got the goosebumps factor hasn't it. I love it. must have watched 10 times now. Its like watching the aerial footage in the 1969 film. Superb, the man should make movies! If he wants to remake the BoB film I'll support him all the way!

Great Job guys. Boxmike has an eye for this...no doubt. It would be a whole lot nicer if he would come out a high res version of this movie so we can view it better. If there is a high res link..could you post an link for it? thanks... Also...my opinion of course, it would have been again nicer if there were some SFX sound effects in the beginning where all the explosions...cannon fire...etc. Other than that...again great job! Best Regards

I've watched it a dozen times too. It captures the epic scale so very well.
After five plus years (six now I guess) on BoBI and BoBII, this is the best tribute to the men, the time and (as a very small part) the developr/BDG work that has gone into BoBI/II over the years.
Really great to see.

Looks like he updated it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0ieKzmAZgMThe closing radio call was clipped on the link above. A small touch, but a nice detail. A fantastic piece of work.

And here is a link to download it in higher resolution (254MB download). It looks even better here. One impressive thing is that apparently BoxMike's PC rig is kind of middle of the road in terms of power and yet it still looks pretty high quality as far as the visual effects.... http://s22.quicksharing.com/v/6124867/BoBII.mpg.html
