Looks nice Pobs.

The lines should not be so straight, from the pictures and maps I've seen, but the overall effect is good. But, we will need more comments from others. ;\)

Looks better Pobs. \:\)

What are those white blocks on the trenches? They seem to repeat to often, and stand out in your terrain. ;\)

Hi Col,

they are meant to be concrete strongpoints... and yes, they do repeat too often but remember so far we only have one tile here.. in a full set, this tile will be alternated with several others, so then they will be less of a problem... but it is easy to remove them if you prefer them out ...just say the word..

I reckon that two of these frontline tiles seperated by a 'no-mans land' tile covered in craters and little else, will give us a 'strip of tortured earth' between 6-8 km across, which I seem to remember fits quite well with descriptions of the hellish zone being 5-6 miles wide...

cheers,

Pobs

Hi Pobs.

Maybe tone them down a bit? They look white, but concrete is darker Grey in colour. I'll be sending you over the almost finished Se5a for photo reconnaissance duties over the trenches. ;\)

thanks John... I can send you a tile map with a frontline next to Marquise airfield near Calais if you would like to try flying over these to get the feel for them ..

Pobs

Trench areas look brilliant, like the patterns in pic two above,
maybe darken the centres of the shell craters m8, fantastic!!
