I grabbed it at Wal-Mart. And I'm glad I did.
I've got to hit the sack, so I've only done some navigating, and lots of looking at the sub. Oh yeah, sank a torpedo boat with my deck gun. It was a U.S. Navy boat, but I was just trying my gun out. Hopefully, no one back at Pearl has heard about it yet!!
First immpresions...one of the most beautiful games I've seen yet. I've got a dual core rig, 512mb video card, so I turned everything up. All the way. Res on 1240x960. Supposedly it can't hold any res but 1024x728, but I went back and checked, and it was still on that setting. Real pretty.
Gonna finish sub school and do this right. I'm anxious to start my first patrol. Remember Pearl Harbor, boys!! Let's send 'em to Davey Jones!!

Also, check out the mods at SubSim . . . some help out with issues like realistic crush depth, clouds that morph too fast, and realistic battery life; others add immersion like extra radio stations. I've linked to some of them here in the SH4 Tips and Essentials thread.
