This will be no better than First Aces without some sort of Massive Multiplayer-----I've been told by the Third wire people that MM is NOT in their future plans which has caused my interest in FA to wane. CERTAINLY HOPE this is NOT the case for Knights of the Sky! iF SO FLANDERS FIELD HERE I COME!
There are no great men only ORDINARY men who meet GREAT challenges.

Richthofen, we play them all, and there's always too few WWI sims available anyway, so you'll never break the family budget trying out another one.
Now as far as "First Aces" (First Eagles), yes, somewhat clunky multiplayer component (not Third Wire's forte unfortunately).
Concerning Knights of the Sky, and if multiplayer will receive due emphasis (GT's Albert Zhiltsov):
Oh yeah, most definitely and this is what we're all about. As members of Gennadich won more than ten online competitions, including world championships in China and Europe, we know exactly what is necessary for good online play. We already brought new online gaming experience for virtual pilots in ADW which is recognised by many players. Having gained positive experience and feedback, we will extend features in the direction of improving online gameplay. Hardcore simmers should be satisfied!
As avid simmers, and forum members here, one thing that's somewhat frowned upon is the propagation of rumor, and/or unsupported prognostication.

I can't make up my mind wether you are a spammer of a troll. I believe RICHTHOFEN is more like the kid before Cristmas who can't go to sleep because of the all toys he's expecting. Mate, all good things come to those who wait. There is plenty of time to get your arse virtually spanked

If you hate to be negative, why be negative. 2 posts, same subject, neither relevent to KotS
Is KotS still going to be published by MS?
You started that thread and then didn't follow it up with any source on your info.
I can't make up my mind wether you are a spammer of a troll.
Main issue is that there is practically no activity in this forum, as was to be expected, since it is about a game that isn't out yet.

Massive multiplay isn't what it used to be in RB3D days mate when it was people bonkers about WW1 and wings with wires who probably built their own computer... I see massive multiplayer lately I avoid it. Just means the developers are too lazy to build good AI opponents, just a set of tools for us to build our own experience. I want them to provide the immersion it's what we pay them for. Chess set sir? Yes here's a few lumps of hardwood you just need a lathe and there you go. Manual? Yes just grind the leftover chips of wood down really fine and soak the chips in water and- yes the Chinese invented it don't forget the lime plus you'll need some sort of printing outfit. John Bull it's around here somewhere This do it yourself every man his own publishing house lark's getting ridiculous Ming

Would love to see good online AI, so that we could join servers full of on-going aerial activity, with artillery observation machines, bombers, as well as the usual fighter patrols all conducting sorties simultaneously. (a persistent aerial battlefield, populated when neccessary, by AI crews)

CFS3 is not Massive Multiplayer. Multiplayer yes but not massive.
As Over Flanders Fields is based on CFS3 it is subject to the same limitations as CFS3 as to MMP.

lol piper I'd need to see that in black and white mate as I don't remember seeing your alleged precapitulation That'll teach him. Four hours searching his own posts and then two hours trying to work out what precapitulation means. And in the meantime all the villains in his street know he's going to be busy for the next six hours. The ones that read in here I mean, must be hundreds. Did you lock your car Ming

Name calling does not bother me, I have the right to express my views here negative or otherwise and I could care less what some Bozo thinks-----My goal is to try to influence a well designed sim that we all can enjoy not to start some sort of forum soap opera---or flame war and if you read the thread correctly the Ms rumor was simply that a rumor I picked up from a friend in the industry ---THAT I AM NOT AT LIBERTY to discuss but it was just a an unfounded rumor that turns out was related to CFS & future WW1 sims AND OR WILL MS put out an official expansion in this period.

RICHTHOFEN's new University Course "How to make friends and influence people" 101 will soon be taking applicants Seriously though. No one minds people expressing their opinion on these forums BUT there is a way to go about it. Your question was answered in the FE forum but you carried on berating the lack of MMP. The same question has cropped up here and on other Boards and it's more of the same. It just feels like you're going from place to place quoting scripture and verse about your ideas on MMP until you get the answers you want.

I've read that OP of yours several times now, and I see nothing in there about you picking up this rumor "from a friend in the industry:" Wow, that's really deep. So, how are we supposed to read that thread correctly, using your logic?

I AM NOT AT LIBERTYSome light on the horizon then can we get a message through to the Warden But seriously if it comes out it'll be nice. If it doesn't we'll have BoB The last thing that developers need is feeling that purchasers have no confidence in them. So we'll fake it On the other hand developers need to foster confidence in their product WIP and models can't do that alone ( I sense this is what worries the OP) even though they are lovely. But ingame movies can... hint Ming
