Jan, nice progress on the albatros but my wwi ac identification responder is not up to speed yet! ...sorry! which work-in-progress is that greencamo for btw???

and can you include blank pcx's as templates for any future wwi ac you may release??? it'll be easier for old/new skinners to at least participate again...for instance the fokker dvii i have pretty much in hand will provide that.

as far as your slotting? i would strongly vote instead to keep the Raf in the default Br-slots because i can convert Lolos frenchspeech to the Us slots which i was going to do anyway for another dual purpose, besides theres an inherit glitch regarding wingmen call signs using french/russian in the british side, has something to do with the 4xflights in 1940 which automatically changed to 3 afterwards which were never compensated in those speech packs.

Hi Guys.

I'm very short of time to do anything much for EAW, due to family, and home decoration, before selling up this house. The best I can do for the moment, is build a tri-plane 3dz, which then can be modded into various other aircraft. If you like me to do this, let me know. Other than that, all I'll be doing is some fairly simple Tmods, which won't take more than a couple of evenings to do. \:\)

A question, will these biplanes that you are making have flight model?
Will Knegel make the flight model?
Will there be a new version of the rp?

Col! i got less time than you but whos actually left here on a modding schedule anyway , except i did drop other stuff i was tinkering with to see where this will go at the moment...so IMO rather see concentration on any wwi aircraft at this early stage and triplanes look like a nut mostly for somebody like you to crack.

and Jan what about this re-assigned Allied roster...

US - France (Fr. sound pack)

P51B - Morane "N" (M.S.5) (?) / Fr. /
P51D - Norane "AI" (M.S.27) / Fr. /
P47C - Nieuport 17 (?) / Fr. /
P47D - Nieuport 27 (?) / Fr. /
P38H - SPAD S.VII / Fr. / HR / Jan Tuma (?)
P38J - SPAD S.XIII / Fr. / HR / Jan Tuma (?)
B26a - Brequet 14 A2 (?) / Fr. /
B24a - Caudron R.11 (?) / Fr. /
Bb17 - Handley Page 0/100 (?) / GB /

GR - Breat Britain (default sound pack)

HURR - Airco D.H.2 (?) / GB /
SP02 - R.A.F. SE.5a (?) / GB / LR / Col. Gibbon
SP09 - Sopwith Pup or Triplane (?) / GB /
SP14 - Sopwith Camel(?) / GB /
TYPH - Avro 504 (?) / GB /
TEMP - Bristol Type 22 F.2B (?) / GB /
MOSQ - Airco D.H.4 (?) / GB /

...maybe too many Nieuports before??? so its paired up to simular variants slotted as eaw was, added instead a second popular Morane and demoted to a more likely Nieuport...also to mention, this slotting will now allow to easily revert French back to American sound files for anything Lafeyette.

Errm Flyright. Sound packs? Non sound packs more likely, as I don't recall tally-ho chaps, in WWI, over the radio?, and bailouts with parachutes is another no, no. \:\)

I'll start tonight on a generic tri-plane, ;\)

i was just testing you guys but all one has to do is shut off the sims speech volumn anyway so there was option either way...besides some of the obvious dialog could be edited out later lieving maybe whenever a wingman yells out as if someone would hear 'em...you know! like watching a movie! but bailouts/parashutes is a real good point, maybe down the road someone will come up with a fix for those???

Jan

Albatross looking ace m8, more power to you.

I would have slotted the Brits in the Brit slots
and the French and US(spads/nieuports) in the US slots.
