If you have an nvidia card then you must use the 77.77 and under forceware or the 93.71 forceware drivers. You can get them at guru3d.com in the downloads section. I have tested this rigorously and the drivers ARE THE cause of most of the Mig problems, specifically if it crashes when loading the 3d world.

FYI - I have 93.71 and initially had issues. I reinstalled Mig and that seemed to keep things working just nicely.

So does that mean that Nvidia G80 series cards (8800GTX) won't work? I'm using Forceware 97.92 with XP-SP2 and was planning to reinstall Mig Alley, but it looks like it may be a waste of time.

FWIW, the latest BDG 0.85F release works fine on my go 7900GTX with 84.63-mobile.

I am running dual 6800 Ultras on XP Pro SP3 and nVidia 93.71 drivers no problems.

Ahh, interesting. I have just installed a GeForce 6200 with ForceWare version 83.91. And cannot get past the initial intro movie. When the main screen appears the game crashes.

So if I read the above posts correctly I have to either go back to an earleir version of drivers eg 77.77; or get the latest ones, which are now 94.24. Correct?

i just instaled this, does anyone have boxed textures?i know the game is old but some ground texture are too blocky and have some red box in them too, also the canopy reflection is also blocky,and i dont have the well know cockpit glint.

Blade, this looks like software driver is loaded. Can you post a screen shot of your 3D and 3DII pages with settings?

actually i instaled on both xp with a gf2 mx,and 98 with my voodoo 3 and both were listed as primary adaptar driver or sth like this on the 3d page,so i dont know what it was,i already uninstaled it.i had set everything else to max.

i'm using the latest drivers, and it works flawlessly on my 8500 gt.... and thats on vista too....

Yes no problems here, latest nVidia drivers, quad core and Vista 64 HP to boot.

FWIW. I am running a 6800GT with 88.xx drivers with no problems so far.....
