Am I missing something?

I've installed it and run a training mission, but that's as far as I can get. The problem I've got is as soon as a briefing starts to load, my PC freezes up tight. Anyone else with similar issues? Any advice from the Resident One?

Thanks Davros. I figured it out. Wondrous things happen when I RTF readme \:D It seems as though you need to enter a "Battle" first before entering the "Combat" chamber.

I grabbed the XP patch with great excitement and installed X-Wing, only to discover that the key card is bye bye. (What's it been? Eight years and two house moves since I ran it last?) I was able to figure out most all the commands, except for the one that is listed as "Roll/Target ship in sights", and is supposed to be ALT-3. This just plain, flat out doesn't work! When I enter it in the game, in flight, absolutely nothing happens. Can someone please help me out by telling me what this command really is? This is for X-Wing Collector's Series, the Win95 (XWING95) version that comes bundled with Tie Fighter and X v. T. Thanks.
