Yup. Easiest thing in the world. With the bombing pipper glued to the bottom of the HUD, fly the center dot over the target. Press and HOLD the trigger. You are now in CCRP mode.

You'll see a range line down the left side of the HUD with an arrow at tit's top. And the bomb pipper will jump to the top of the bomb line. As the range arrow starts dropping a tone will sound. Bomb release will occur about 5 seconds later. Once bombs are released, release the trigger.

There's a video at Flankertraining.com on the A2G page called Dive Toss Bombing using an Su-27 as the platform. Watch it for the HUD cues.

LOL I was practicing some more. 8 landings today and no crashes. The last one was as smooth as a babies butt.

One of the times, somehow I turned on the autopilot. Colt, what key combination turns that on, on your X-52 profile? Also, how do I turn it off. The one time it came on, it took me right in and turned itself off right as I came in to land.

I don't have autopilot [A] mapped on my profile, only altitude hold and auto-throttle...

Okay here's the missions and tracks. Now obviously there is no ADS present that would dictate what kind of attack profile you would fly. These missions are not to practice tactics, just the switchology of the weapons. Don't feel like you have to attack exactly the same way I do in my tracks.

Awesome man! Glad to hear the practice is paying off...once you get all that "flying" stuff down you can start adding in more and more stuff..x-winds...poor vis..rain...then add in some combat..failures..etc. That is the nice thing..still lots more to learn! (For me too!)

Hm, Im gettin my profile built up really nice on my X52 =) this thing works magic =) very precise too, I can fly right on someones wing with it =) I hopped online today and I got 2 kills, really easy, which didnt feel right, especially because they had ECM on, which meant I couldnt ID them as friend or foe, fired 2 AIM-120s, bang bang theyre both dead, land and check my AAR, they were two friendly bots, an AWACS and I believe an A-10. That kinda sucked, i was proud too lol

Sounds like you launched on them in HOJ (Home on Jam) mode. When their jammers are turned on it's impossible to tell if they're friendly or not. I recommend not firing at jamming targets unless you're positive you don't have friendlies in front of you.

Hello,

Fellow NOOB here as well. I am an IL2 series simmer and took the plunge into LOMAC.

First off, could someone give me their awesome x52 profile? I think Colt has been passin his around? Could you please send this my way? Thank you:)

Okay I do not have the Flaming Cliffs add on, but I patched up to 1.02 and this game is running extrememly slow compared to IL2. Any graphic/sound settings help? Catalyst Control Center settings? Here are my specs:

AMD 3700+
ATi 850XT
1 gig of ram
Xfi soundcard

I run IL2 60fps perfect mode, yet this game is a tank. I knew it was demanding but aye... Any help would be appreciative.

Any suggestions on printable manuals? What about that lomac-manual site? Any of those still sittin around? Thanks everyone!

Yes, I'm starting to check this out too in preparation for Black Shark. A good X52 profile would be nice. -cough cough- Colt \:\)
