Does it enter into an unrecoverable spin just after catching fire for no other reason other than it would be a refreshing change of pace from spinning first and then catching fire?

If not, it's not a DH2.

The "whirling incenerator," ask for it by name.

(I just love that they took the time to nick name it something that is both lyrical and slow to say)

if you read Viks comment the developers are already short in time........... so, i hope they concentrate their efforts on the main planes . there is still a lot of other things to programm than planes.
or perhaps they should first concentrate on the year 1917 with its main stuff. i was actually surprised to see a Roland D.VI modell..........
with later Adons than they can release stuff for 1916 and 1918.
just my thoughts, having the IL2 series in mind.

I'd certainly be happy with a small selection of well made flyables(Quality > Quantity)
and a selection of nice campaigns and single missions. The nice campaigns and missions are not optional and have to be included with the initial release.

More can be added later. If the initial product is good enough then the community will soon be baying for more.

Yep - a library of historical single missions is a must, and I'd rather have five high-quality flyables than 50 splodgy-cockpit messes.

More like Lock On, less like Pacific Fighters!

Cheers,

RocketDog.

When is this due again?

Just watched "The Great Waldo Pepper", saw it once years back and was impressed by the aerial sequences then and theyre just as impressive now. The films hoplessly romantic about early aviation and the aces of WW1 but the flying is bloody marvellous. If you haven't seen it, its worth it for the insane wingwalking stunts (transferring from one curtis jenny to another), a very young Susan Sarandon and a brilliant (if unrealistic) dogfight between a Dr1 and a Camel...
