I think that as the pilot I'd rather have the radiator offset so that in the event it took a round, I wouldn't be drenched with boiling water. Copterdrvr

Would be a cool effect. A round to the radiator, a hizzing sound and white fog coming out of it, into your face, followed by a slow red-out of the screen...

Barkhorn. Albatros built - yes, OAW build - no as it had rounded one from the factory. One which we have as 3D - is OAW.

I know that its only rudder shape to change, little gun beech shape change and wooden panels change (for skin), but it will take maybe few hours, and "few hours here, few hours there" and... you know.

PS: we will make new ingame terrain shots to see, but not now This is very interesting news as one of the problems I have with excellent but old Il2 series is the terrain which is looking verrry dated. Very much looking forward to this title and hope my rig will be able to handle it.

Pehaps you can make an exception in this case? The Albatros built DIII was common as dirt in 1917. ...and that Werner Voss scheme that I am so looking forward to flying just won't look quite right w/o that squared off rudder. http://blindkat.hegewisch.net/voss/albatros.html Thanks, Barkhorn.
