I have no idea. I have never played F4 in easy mode.
It is a lot more rewarding in realistic avionics, and frankly, much more logical.
You should learn on realistic, because re-learning after you are used to Easy Mode and switching to realistic, will be a long hard road.

I understand that Franx, but I'm telling you, in Realistic, the commands structure and the performance of the avionics is much more logical and cascading than it is in simplified or easy. I think realistic is easier to learn (much harder to master) than easy is. And after you learn easy, realistic becomes a lot harder to learn. BTW, Happy New Year! -Skater

Falcon is a hard core sim IMHO, just as is LoMac. Basically its a flying radar with weapons. To not get deep into the avionics and weapons system is to miss over 1/2 of what its about.
Dogfighting requires ALOT of practice and study to be on top of your game, and thats where much time needs to be available. Cooperative flying is much more to the weekend warrior's time crunch.
I would agree with both SKATER and the weekend warrior and say stick with realistic and fly a couple of times a week with an online squadron that has training and IPs available to help with the steep learning curve.
Theres always second tier sims like Longbow2, IL2, First Eagles and Project1 for lower cockpit cranium meltdowns.
And for those totally caveman level times, theres always Americas Army and other shooters which have their place and are alot of fun.
