Hello all,

how do I get rid of the stiffness in my X45 stick? The throttle is fine, but the stick takes a little bit too much of force to move around, and it makes for less precise commands when flying around...

Take 4 wire ties (zip ties) and bind two coils of the spring together. I put one N,S,E,W around the stick on the top two spring coils, it's much better that way.

You know you can loosen the throttle with the screw on the bottom right?

Here's my profile (it's got track ir buttons but if you don't have TIR you just have 2 free buttons): http://home.comcast.net/~butler_j/TRACKIR_F4AF.zip

Throw a little cold water on it. That ought to take the stiffness out of your stick \:\)

Seriously, just fly it. The springs will break in in time \:\)
