yep. Scott will need to edit his pit's to be compatible, or find another way to hack it in.

well for ounce I like drStop cockpit better than the original, it is that much clearer, my eyesight is not what it used to be and I hope that he will get a Patch for it, LP should stay away if they are going to make a good thing go bad.

I have seen the screenshot of Dr Stop's pit and it sure does look nice and clear. I tried messing around with my PC resolution and AF resolution to get something that is clearer than what we have now, but I cant seem to get a clear looking pit. If I had a credit card or another way to pay over the Internet, I would probably get the Dr Stop pit.

As these two files are in the block50 art folder, it's obvious that it's a deliberate shot over the bow at Dr. Stop. Didn't have the pit, but it sure was pretty.

Yep... not surprising at all. I am sure the usual people will complain about how unfair it is, ignoring how unfair it is when someone else makes money off your property.

Or, I guess these same people would allow someone to set up shop in their home and make money without giving them a cut...

I am not concerned about the legallity of it,only the end result, take a better quality product and make it lesser, this in itself is a caveman approched let the people with the knowhow help, make this sim the BEST it can be, We are very few amongs gamers who like that gendre if LP wanted to make a buck,they better crank out FPS titles instead. As for stability we all know it was working fine. Please find a solution to this!

LP should consider that Stopworks' cockpit and the upcoming hitilesAF were the only reason F4AF is still on my pc.

It would open the door to a slippery slope.
Once you let mods happen in this way... you will have to let others do the same.
It has been clear from the start, that THIS way... is NOT the way LP wants to do it !

But the manufacture does NOT have to support you !
They do not have to offer warranty to aftermarket mods.
They do not have to trouble shoot your aftermarket mods.
And they can change the way they make the Auto at anytime they please.

I have an add-on Custom Air Conditioner from my 1967 Ford Falcon Van.

I would like to use it in my Ford 2004 Expedition, but hell if it dont install the same way.

I don't care if the manufacturer doesn't support me, I could care less if they don't trouble shoot my emblem mod, if they change the way they make my car, and I don't like it I will go elsewhere next time I purchase a car. I won't fault the manufacturer of the car.

( My 102 version was HEAVILY modified.... but I choose to go with 103. If I can make the old mods work with 103 or not has yet to be seen... but I wont blame LP if they dont work any longer ! )

The sticky wicket is where an outside developer offers a mod for a fee.... and the Sims structure changes.
Now people have paid for a mod they would "Like" to have supported by LP, but may not be able to use unless it is "fixed" by the Author, or the Sim strucure is altered to Support the "After Market" mod.
Who would YOU hold responsible ?
