my p.c. is windows xp. i followed directions from speichts website. the game installs with no errors it just wont play. what am i missing.

Did you dl the "kit" for LB2 from the site? It has an advanced XP compatability file for this game only. Worked for me, when in the same situation as you describe. Ran the file, LB2 runs smoothly with no fiddling or other adjustments. I am using the dgVoodoo latest wrapper.

So it is so far not related to 3d issues.
My first guess is that it is related to memory handling. Have you altered your system memory or used the CA.ini fix mentioned on PositiveG's site ? For me, only the CA.ini entry was necessary, but the maxmem method worked also.

Have you made the
"[Backdoors]
Heap_Percent=0"
entry into your CA.ini ?
