I decided to have a go at getting LB2 to work today. So I installed it, patched it, chucked in the dgVoodoo wrapper, configured it as per the install thread, and started the game. And would you believe it, it worked the first time out, without limiting the memory or CPU speed or anything. Not that my CPU is fast, but I digress \:D IT WORKS! I feel kinda lucky, getting it to work with absolutely no hassle at all \:\)

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Good deal, did you do the CA.INI adjustment too?


Install -> Patch -> CA.INI -> dgVooDoo

That seems to be the magic combo to get it to run with no memory tweaking.

Yep, I did tweak that file a bit. I do have sticky keys from time to time, but I think I can live with that. Man, what a great sim this is, I can't believe I've missed out on it until now!
