Ok you LB2 fans,

AV8R is going to host another Fly-In this coming Saturday, July 23rd @ 11:00 AM PST-PDT (-7 GMT).

We usually have at it for 2-3 hours, doing several online campaign missions in a row.

Make sure youre online ready before the flight time. If you need help, post it and someone will surely help out.

These are sponsored by the 1st Calvary LB2 Squadron, but anyone that is serious about flying is welcomed. Sorry I only speak english and Hellfires.

Either find me via my ICQ (239-044-801), or at Magnum's TS2 server at the LB2 channel (which is linked to via the 1st Cav website under the comms link/trailer).

I was on at about 1200 PST but saw no-one on either the ICQ address or on the Java Chat on your site. Waited around for a few ...

TS2 was the place to congregate.

Eugene and I were trying to get him going.

Was a slow time.

Thanks for the help, AV8R. Although the initial problem was simple (correct RAM limiting), I was not able to solve this new graphics development: No "live" MFDs or HUD graphics. Both were blank and did not respond to keyboard input. Same in cp/g seat. Also, no option menu inflight, just a kind of translucent quarter page on the left side of the cockpit view. No ability to exit game or mission. Stick and throttle worked fine for flight, but no way to fight or navigate normally, etc.

The only change I am aware of from many previous normal flights is an upgrade in my nvidia drivers to 61.76 from an earlier 50 series. I've not noticed any problems in other games. Still using Win98SE.

Will be out of town for a bit, but will investigate for next month.

Sounds like a graphics driver problem.

Maybe you can go to the video card properties, and roll back the graphics driver to one that worked before?

Or perhaps a restore point back when it worked?
