Hi All,

It is exciting to see that LB2 may get a facelift from the community as the file structure is better understood.

I hope this question has not been asked before. And if the answer is too involved could someone direct me to a Website where I can learn the answer? Here is the question, Can someone explain why LB2 needs RAM memory limited? Could there be a workaround to trick LB2 into thinking there is only 386? memory?

I enjoy this Sim, it is one of my all time favorites. The AI in this Sim is one of the best to challenge one's combat flying skills. But I have not played it in a while because it gets tiresome switching memory limit back and forth between this Sim and others that are not memory limited.

I agree, a fix within the EXE would be great!

You don't necessarily have to cap you entire system RAM for this, some have success with just the M$ compatability fixes.

HCI has a fix for the heap issue, so who knows the memory "GlobalMemoryStatusLie" parameter may not be required either.
