Yep, had some spare change – so I took the plunge and ordered BoBII. Now, I know that I will not get to use FF (Logitec FF Pro w/ those steel cables – and XP) and my specs may be a bit on the low side, but I was looking for something a bit more immersive than IL-2 SP mode and this sim has it in spades.
…and a dedicated group of modders that make cool things – that always helps a sim.
Anyone have any tips they care to offer this newbee?
System specs: AMD 2800+ Nvidia Ti4600 128 MG card 756 MGs DDR RAM Win XP Home
Thanks, Barkhorn.

Welcome to BoB II, old chap I guess the biggest tips I can give are to grab the 2.03 patch, and be prepared to set weather settings to LOW. Things still look nice, but framerate will be higher. Your system isn't that bad, so it should play just fine.

Thanks Bader - I have been reading up on the Shockwave Boards.
I am downloading the 2.03 patch right now and should have the game by Friday.

Another question:
Does the BDG Advisor ship w/ the game? I believe I read where it is compatible. If not, is it available on your site?
Thanks, Barkhorn.

Yes, it installs by default to the \BDG Advisor folder. It seems to work fine on BoBII, though it was actually designed for BoB1 as you know...

Hmmm...I'll have to do some testing then - and get those 4.50 drivers.
Thanks, Barkhorn.

Got it yesterday. Loaded fine/patched fine - no issues. Getting my config. together. Grfx are excellent - IMO. Should be seriously flying later today. Very happy so far. Barkhorn.
