Geez, the game's been out since yesterday and i haven't seen a single screenshot by a user, not one..

It seems as BoBII has been a flop.
In this forum, that's one of the most important simmer forum, there are only few post about BoB2, no pics, no review...
In the GMX Media official forum of BoB2, there are only 2 post about it.
It seems as GMX Media has sold five copies of this game in the world

It does not bode well, why hasn't this game been properly hyped? The stores here don't even know what it is and it's not in their databases

Well its only out in the UK and then only in one store AFAIK so I would imagine that those who have it are probably rater busy learning how to fly it and are not yet that bothered about taking shots.

Well, it's not like the UK is far from here :p The most disturbing thing is that they know NOTHING about BoB2. While they did know about Il2 for example.

Try the shockwave forums - more people are posting about BOB2 on there and there are some screenies going up in one or two threads http://shockwaveproductions.com/forum

I wondered about that as well, but apart from the fact especially the Shockwave forum is now getting very active, it seems only British people have it yet. I have been in a city nearby here in germany today anyway and looked into two shops, neither of them had it yet. In one I asked and the asnwer I got was "That is a flightsim, right? ... We do not have it and will not get it" and it sounded very much like "we will not carry any flight sims" ad indeed there were none on the shelves.

It is sad that now you are almost looked down on if you arn't a console gamer LOL it wasn't that long ago that everyone sneered at consoles and said PC were invcable.. now look, most stores the PC section is down the back on one shelf...

Shimmering looks bad on those water shots. I've never seen it that bad in a screenshot.

James..what kind of fps are you getting in those shots?

I suspect its the effect of the image compression.

The sea does shimmer a bit, though not enough to bother me.

I am interested in how you can tell that the sea shimmers from looking at a screenshot, sir?
Seriously. I am not trying to defend the sim.

With lone A/C against solid sea I get 32 fps.
