The San Juan Islands in Puget Sound, WA, I presume. About halfway between Seattle and Vancouver, north of Whidbey Island, west of Anacortes.

Great pic!

Those are not the default clouds are they?

What mod / add-on is used?

Amaroq is right, that's the San Juan Islands in Washington state, a beautiful part of the world. Victoria, BC, Canada is in the far background with San Juan Island in the middle distance.

Some trivia: Ernest K Gann, author of 'Fate is the Hunter', perhaps one of the best books about aviation ever written, lived on San Juan Island.

I use ActiveSkyV for clouds and weather and the terrain is Ultimate Terrain USA/Canada.
