I would get rid of that other plane, otherwise cool! \:D Cant wait for more of your shots.

I saw the 380 last year at the Paris Airhosw (crap venue, great show, stink weather (over 40 degrees!)) and thought it was pretty cool. Actually the crowd were the greatest thing about the plane because you could feel the pride of the French as THEIR plane took off \:\)

And the sound thing, yes it was really quiet at Paris BUT could that be because it doesnt need anywhere near as much power to get off the ground as it would if fully laden with pax and cargo?

Great photos guys, I can't wait to see this thing in person.

SGT_Rock, I would get rid of the A340 but don't crop the photo, just clone it out. The extra space on the RHS (I think) gives an impression of the movement of this beast.

Hey--I was tired! When I post the rest up over the weekend I will modify to include getting rid of "sitting bull" and the A340. I am slightly delayed as I am having a full electrical rewire and my phone/BB service was knocked out in the process. Still...editing continues although it was not as productive a shoot as I would have hoped--and thanks to the lovely weather it exposed some heavy dust bunnies on my sensor.

But--you can look forward to Mig-29, FA-18, Typhoon, Grippen, Spitfire, and various others. I am guessing I will have them posted here by Monday.

the local airport I watch at is looking into bringing the A380 in as a work area for the local North East Hubs.

"Air Service Development Project: The FAA is funding the New England Regional Airport System Plan. Its purpose is to determine a plan for serving the New England region’s aviation needs. The FAA wants to look into the possibility of serving A380s at PSM. Our facility exceeds the large runway/taxiway clearance these planes require. For a relatiso a waiver would not be required. The closest airport with a possibility of handling these aircraft is JFK and the necessary investment for that facility to comply would be extensive"
