We camped for a while on Anglesey, and on a sunny afternoon, took Ali to the fabulous Newborough Warren beach. Perfect conditions for coaxing the old lad in to what has become a rare demo of what he was bred for - running VERY fast I LOVE to see Ali running and am very pleased to have captured him in flight.

cheers
Gareth

UNDERSTEER - is when you hit the wall with the front wing.
OVERSTEER - is when you hit the wall with the back wing.
HORSEPOWER - is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE - is how far you can take the wall with you.

Nice shots, Goon.

If you get the chance to do it again, pop your D50 into shutter priority mode and try your hand at some panning. With luck, you'll get some motion blur on the old gal's legs and in the background \:\) .

And here I was, thinking I was going to see an old retired boxer running along in the sand... :p

Is there anything better than seeing a good dog do what he or she loves best? Nice shot...and here's mine doing the same:

Mine gets to swim in the Channel daily...and then spends the next several hours napping...as dogs do!

Nice shot! Ali's trips to the beach are rare sadly.

Mud Hen -> I've tried for the motion blur, but he tends run straight on to you, plus, his head moves a lot too, so you just get a total blurry mess!

cheers
Gareth

ok, concerning dogs and water, here are two shots I took last Sunday;
as the next beach would be about 1000 miles away, Lara had to be satisfied with our garden and a water hose, but she loved it nevertheless as you will see \:\)
