I know that this has been mentioned many moons ago but it never seems to get resolved. You find a thread and follow it through but it never seems to reach a satisfactory conclusion. I personally find the missing RWR display in cockpit mode annoying. Are there any Geforce3 users who have a working RWR display and can tell me exactly how you got it to work.Using a specific Geforce tweak utility, that kind of thing. I know you can get around it by using the other cockpit view(F2) but i don't like this view. Personal preference don't ya know.

Sir, if you have a fix I will be glad to try it out. I have had the same problem(no RWR in 2D cockpit) since I installed my GeForce II Ultra card. I had given up on the posts and threads I and others had started long ago, and will be very greatfull for the fix.

SLIKK..I got the Zip file ok.(TY) But where do I extract it? Do I go to Resource\Cockpits\***\3dCockpit\rwrtext for each plane, or will it just extract to Cockpits? I don't want to screw it up so I will wait for your reply before trying anything. Again Thanx!

The files go in the cockpit folder. Just copy them into the folder but make a (BACK UP) copy of the original files first.

I now have the rwr back in cockpit view! But the problem remains that the radar source is not as pronounced as I remember, or in as much detail. I get two flashing vertical cursurs for the enemy plane only. It seems to me that the missiles launched were shown as well as some information about the plane or radar source launching. It has been so long I can't remember. Am I thinking of F/A18? Anywho, thanx much for the fix. I can at least get a beam aspect on the enemy aircraft now. If you have any ideas about the rest of the problem I would be willing to try any of your suggestions.

I e-mailed the problem with the RWR graphics and Slikk sent me a new file and now it works
like a dream.

The new paint file worked! How do you suppose the old file(Which was still there only a slightly diferent shade of green)was made not to work? Thank you so much! This will really improve my enjoyment of this sim.

I am away from my puter so I cant send the files to any one right now. I had to go away on a trip for my work and I wont be back until next week but as soon as I get back I will send the files to you all.

I,m not sure how to do it. But I still have the zip files in My Documents. I could try sending them. I might screw it up a couple of times, but hey, it's worth a shot. And it's the least I can do for all the help I,ve recieved.
