That's strange, it might be a corrupted 102f patcher.

Uninstall and install again. Then, hit the 1.02f installer and wait to see what happens. If it stays the same, then you should look for another lace to download it from. Er...BTW, where did you downloaded it from?

If you bought the cheap box, ie with no hard copy manual, no key template, etc, then you will already have the patch

Go into disk 1 and find a folder called "Patch" and double click it. In there will be a USAF_Patch.exe file. Double click it, and it will self install and Voila! 1.02f This is how I moved to that version anyway.

That way you can rule out corrupted downloads or updaters (EA updaters are written by the Shakespeare Monkeys anyway :b)
