OK - I'm at a loss.

Upgraded to a Track IR 4.today (nice) however, I have been unable to get it to work with FSX.

I've downloaded the latest alpha.03 software

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Track IR software (correctly) a couple of times to no avail.

Track IR works perfectly with Falcon4AF, IL2, and LockON. The blue LED comes on when each of these games start, however, when I start FSX the blue light does not come on and when I do an ALT-TAB the Track IR shows that no profile is loaded.

Anybody have any ideas?

Hmm...I didn't have any problems with mine. When you are running the TIR software, do you go in and double click on the FSX profile? That is what I do...

Have you clicked "check for game updates" after installing the new drivers ?

I have the same problem - despite uninstalling and reinstalling both trackIR and flight sim x. I called trackIR support and they said that some people are having this problem. At this time, there is no fix to those of us that have this problem (according to tech support). Hopefully, they will get a fix soon.

OK, one step to try….

1 – Delete the following file folder

C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect_67c7c14424d61b5b_10.0.60905.0_x-ww_429211e9

2 – Insert the FSX CD, and run the repair utility. Basically we are looking to reinstall the folder.

3 – Hopefully this should remedy the issue.

Actually, that did the trick and my Track IR is now working great with FSX.
