I check the Japanese site almost every other day, hoping to see some sign that their beautiful P-3C Orion is going to be released soon. The same month/year has been on their site forever, it seems.

Does anyone out there know how to read Japanese, and can get more information on this?

P.S. Topgun, did I understand you correctly concerning AI aircraft, when you said that all I have to do to create one, is to remove the panel and sound folders?

Copy the flyable folder, rename it AI_P-3 for example.

* remove the panel and sound folders.
* go into the texture folder and remove any internal bmps. cockpit, floors and such.

I add AI at the end of my title line
then change manufactorer to Military AI. This way if it shows up in the drop down menu for Military AI you know its loaded correctly.

To remove it from the drop down menu once you know it's working, use that aired.exe program. The less planes MS had to load up at the beginning the better ;-)

Did you work on P-3s? I have made one for SF/WOV and have one of our mates working to get it into the game (map/animate). Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on the SF Forum over the next couple of weeks for its progress.

Anyway, would you happen to have any close-up shots of P-3s? I want to get some close-ups of warning signs and other insignificant decals on P-3s so I can get accurate skins. Do you have any shots? Any body you know have shots?

I sent you a msg via the BioHazard Central site (now Combat Ace), but hadn't heard back from you. I haven't flown SFP1 for some time now. Am waiting for cable modem service to become available in my area, but definitely plan to fly it again.

I don't have any closeup pictures of P-3s.

There is "movement" on the Team FS KBT site that is developing the new P-3C.

For many months, at the top of the page, it stated the release would be sometime around Jan 05.

It now says, "Coming Soon". I know, I know, that may not be much, but at least something is happening! I really want that P-3!!!
