I use version 1 with no problem. I even use the IL2 profile. \:\) (assuming you mean MSFS 2004)

Use it JUST like IL2. When in cockpit press "S" once to cycle the view. The second option is the virtual cockpit. Ahhhhhhhh. SWEET!

When you use Track IR look to your left and DOWN. Then press Ctrl E. The first time I did that the door of the Cessna opened and a bit of vertigo was induced. I got a kick out of it, seeing the wheel strut and Washington State float by.

I don't think 6DOF is supported in Track IR 1.

regards,
Robert.

Do you have the trackir.dll file in your Flight Sim modules directory?

Boandlgramer,

this is what I do:

First I'm using Track IR driver 2.11

I install it as normal. I HAVEN'T included the tick box for MSFS, when I install drivers.

I open the Track IR software and go to Motion Tab. There I set up my necessary edit points using Track IR enhanced mode.

This is so far NO different than IL2.

After setting your edit points and speed I click the Profile TAB and make sure IL2 Sturmovik is highlighted in blue. Then minimize.

Open MSFS2004 and start to fly. click "S" once to get the virtual cockpit.

If enhanced mode is not working press F9 to activate. F12 will center the display.

That's all I do. Works everytime.

I've not loaded in newer Track IR software drivers as these work fine for me.

Good luck,
Robert

Also, it is possible that this can be put into Red Baron. - I know you are a WW1 sim fan, as I am- so please also look at this thread on the trackIR forum . It indicates good news at the end for red baron fans.
