"SimHQ Interview: John Reynolds asked Knights Over Europe Producer Mathew 'JP4' Herman and the Aspect Simulations development team questions about the highly anticipated WWI flight sim now in progress. The team sent along five exclusive new screenshots that show the development progress. You can read the interview along with the new screenshots here:

Thanks for publishing the great interview Bubba! It was an excellent update on the progress of KOE. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed on this one. \:\)

I'm OK with a Q4 2004 release if it means a better sim out-of-the-box. I realize it is still very early in the development process, but wonder what Mathew Herman (or WWI flight sim buffs) think the minimum specs to run KOE decently will be?

Isn't that a bit like asking where the stock market will be when KOE is released? In other words: it's hard to predict exactly.

The closest answer is probably " a mid-level system at the time the game is released" (you said run decently, not just run).

Good stuff.

I want in on the next one of their projects as well.

Victory at Guadalcanal looks like another sim/naval game they are developing.

Nothing at the site concerning the title yet but it looks like it may be fun.

Carrier landing in a Wildcat. Can we play 1942 Pacific Air War anyone?

Well, I have read the interview and there is a lot of information elicited. Fine and OK.
But what would it have cost to ask if there was a mouseview available, thus ensuring that TrackIR could be used with the sim?
John Reynolds may not use trackir, I don't know, but I feel that if he did he would have asked the question. If he doesn't use trackIR, then it is his loss
Anyone who reads the forums of the most popular sims will know how popular TrackIR is; indeed, how those who do use it consider it essential for any sim they use.
I venture that I am not alone when I say that if KOE does not allow the use of TrackIR, then I shall not buy it. And I am a keen WW l sim fan.
Are any subsequent interviews planned further along the line, at which this omission could be rectified?
Sorry that this duplicates what I wrote at the "article feedback " forum, but it seems to be a forum not read much compared to the sims' forums.
