Well that's not good news! I read about a few complaints about the front door not closing perfectly before I got it, but this seems bad. My front door came warped so I have to lock the case to make it close better. No biggie. Hopefully I can get a replacement sometime. Thanks for the heads-up.

A dedicated 120mm fan Joe. Pulls cool front-low air over the HDDs and then on to the PSU where its integral fan exhausts it out the back-low. As may be seen, the PSU is compartmentalized from the upper case.

What is between the PSU and the lower drive cage? (this is my first look at a P180)

120mm Moe. It comes with three: top, CPU-back and PSU intermediary.

You can add a dedicated 80mm graphics card exhaust fan, utilizing the P180's 90 degree ductwork (which I didn't install).

Thanks for the extender cable tip. As you can see it was the tautest run for me.

Hey Bill, may I advise the Athena 4-pin power cable extender?

It's the same color cords as the Seasonic's and fits perfectly. I was going to have to go under the graphics card, around the chip cooler, and all betwixt the heatsink but luckily I added this to my order just in time! Yours looks good though!

No delamination in my case (pun intended) and the front door is fine. Presume Antec has corrected.

Looked at the P180 at CompUSA today -- first time I saw it in real-life. The side was off the display case and I could slide out the HD cages and spin the fans. Very nice. It seems they have almost all sources of noise transmitted through structure somewhat damped. I particularly like the soft grommets for the hard drives. The only thing extra I would want is grommets for the fans. Otherwise the front panel is well organized with the jacks very convenient. Moe the display also had a very slightly warped door -- but it worked. All in all, a reasonable choice for a quiet-computer fanatic at Newegg prices -- and very expensive at CompUSA.

Joe, here's a good view of the Antec P180's intermediary 120mm HDD-PSU fan (HDD's to left and PSU enclosure right/external; from today's linked XYZ review):

Thanks, Bill. You still can't imbed their image, though. \:\)

Interesting fan location, but it seems like it would work well because of the way the bottom of the case is arranged.

I guess I can't embed their image either. ;\)

Yes, certainly unusual. But it does draw low/cool air over the HDDs and then on to the PSU where its integral fan ultimately exhausts it.
