That's just one example of the hurried feeling about the whole last episode. Very much of a, "Okay, we're done. Let's wrap this up and go home!" look. Wasn't up to the rest of the series, at all.
Still, it remains one of my favorite television events of all time. I was completely invested in the characters and story and so were millions of others. It kept you interested and wanting to come back.
