Bob Monroe, who created the parts, suggested a saw from 'RB Productions and fixing the base block to something larger so it was easier to hold whilst cutting it away, but I'd already done it by then.

Would that saw have been produced through a photo etch process. I understand that is a common approach for very thin craft saw blades.
