ASRock preparing nine X570 motherboards

The X570 is AMD’s chipset for Zen2-based processors. The [7nm] Ryzen 3000 desktop series are expected around Computex. The leak from ASRock might be an indicator that X570 motherboards will be available sooner.

My understanding is that the new Ryzen 3000 series CPUs probably (not for sure) will work with older X300 series and X400 series motherboards. Nominally plug and play. But, I won't be at all surprised if a BIOS update is required.

Depending on performance and pricing, my tentative plan is to buy a 7nm Ryzen 7 3800X (??) to replace the Ryzen 7 1800X in my 470 motherboard. But, I'm open to 570 if it actually makes things work better.
