AMD Radeon Navi GPUs spotted in MacOS Mojave update

AMD’s upcoming Navi graphics processors have been discovered in MacOS Mojave update source code. The file named “AMDRadeon6000HWServiceskext” lists Navi 16, Navi 12, Navi 10 and Navi 9..

The fact that these entries already exist could indicate that Navi is much closer than we thought. The rumors about July release are not really exaggerated,..

AMD will be focusing on the mid-range market with their new 7nm power-efficient Navi architecture. In fact, even [AMD] confirmed that 7nm Radeon VII will be AMD’s top-tier graphics card for the time being.

Hopefully, the pundits correctly analyzed the "leak". Nothing official yet. Repeating: the AMD 7nm Navi GPU is "supposed" to be a new design, under $300 GPU (some say $250) with performance of RX Vega 64 at low power use (no proof, just educated rumor). Navi may also be used in 7nm APUs for thin laptops (AMD hints laptops will be an area of specialization and competition). We'll see this Summer.
