Using new driver, author tested Vega 56. Mixed results as expected. New drivers only add a few percent at best, normally.

But, undervolting worked. When I got my AMD cards, I found undervolting to be valuable for the last ounce of performance with low power draw. Yup, to get more FPS you "lower" the voltage -- not increase it.

they did a bang up job on the Auto Undervolt. This has been the key for quite some time to getting more performance out of the more recent Radeon GPU launches and it offers a very healthy bump to stock performance without touching the power draw. Bravo on that one AMD, I love it!
