.

Greetings All,

In a thread last week Nowi asked about a single source work that covered the French side of aviation in WWI and I recommended he try "French Aviation During the First World War" by Vital Ferry. I breezed through a copy of it a few years back when it first came out and found it quite informative, very concise, and packed with a lot of old photos. I did not purchase a copy then, likely because money was a bit short, but I'm fairly flush now so I went ahead and bought it last week from an online seller. It just arrived in the morning mail and the book is every bit as concise and chock-full of photos as I remember. Well worth the money if you are wanting a brief overview of French military aviation on the Western Front in WWI. With this latest addition my personal WWI library now contains the following works.
