I take it back. SRMs/LRMs are awesome!!



Here are my two new toys:












I was surprised to see the Awesome in the field; there was a Zeus and a Battlemaster there too and I wanted both the Zeus and the Battlemaster but when the Awesome appeared, I made quick work of the first two and concentrated on the Awesome. I had an Atlas with an AC/20, a SRM, and an LRM setup (among other weapons) so one salvo of that was enough to fill the stability bar of the Awesome. Another mech with some SRMs/LRMs would then step in afterwards and finish the "push" needed to topple the mech over. Two head hits (from missiles) and two knockdowns and I had an intact Awesome for salvage!

I just might build a couple of mechs with the idea of them being salvage-oriented attacks in order to expand my roster.
