AMD launches Radeon RX 500X series

The new Radeon RX 500X series are meant for pre-built PCs and notebooks, they will not be available elsewhere.

That said, we are looking at identical frequencies and memory configurations as Radeon 500 non-X series.

The official AMD RX500/RX500X Page at their site seems to show identical performance (except on 550X vs 550) -- as noted in the quoted article.

Thus, the X series does not represent anything new (so far). Seems merely a rebranding (not the first rebrand ever).
