Got this Rail Similator spin-off second-hand last week and I must say that I'm impressed.

It provides three BR ex-LMS steam locos - a Black 5 2-6-0, a 7F 2-8-0, and a 4F 0-6-0 - and a stretch of the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway as it was in the 1950s. While I'm sure later Train Sim full-product incarnations have a lot more content, the limited stud and single stretch of railway encourage me to both 'learn the road' and - for the first time - to use more realistic controls, rather than the train-set type approach I have fallen back on with MSTS and Trainz.

And while visuals have doubtless improved since 2011, I really like what I'm seeing, including animated crew and pasenges at stations, as well as some period road traffic. Sorry I didn't pick up this one earlier.
