Rumor based on supposed email from an anonymous "motherboard manufacturer" employee. I summarize the main points next.

1. Motherboards are scarce because AMD moved up the launch date by nearly 3 months. The new date conflicted with the industry's need to supply motherboards for Holidays in December and January.

2. Initial motherboards were flown from China in small shipments. Bigger shipments are on slow-boats (literally). Expectation is that motherboards may not be in good supply until late April -- a month from now. For example, an Amazon source said they will only be getting 80 motherboards (of some type) in early April.

Those are rumor at this point. Bottom line we may not get what we ordered until May (depending on what MB we want and where it is ordered). I hope that's overly pessimistic.
