A poll indicated half of Ryzen buyers are going 8core/16thread -- and that there are many "waiting to buy". Hopefully, I'll get in on the first action -- and not be "closed out" in the first hours after release (before I can order). On the other hand, maybe they made enough $499 Ryzen for the first couple days of orders. We'll see.
