Got some more photos to show some things.
Teej - this is the joystick mount when not in use after pulling the stick out and sitting it on the desk to the right, this is what is left:
If you can game with a keyboard on your lap, then swapping out the joystick is so fast. This is how I use it for keyboard/mouse games. Skyrim with picture landscape portrait in the Obutto is glorious, if only I had more time. See the joystick with cover sitting on the table to the right:
Joystick mount in use:
Warthog with shortened extension, this is the longest I found comfortable especially with the table there. Not the table height is adjustable, so you can adjust the height a bit to help joystick clearance but the longer the stick the harder it is. Remember that this is the lowest you can get the stickmount without modifying it.
Peppergomez - see my 20"s, they have managed to line up with the internal screens together by flipping the mounts and raising one a little. It did take about an hour of fiddling. Also see the first picture how they line up.
This is the whole setup for flying, I still use the mouse there on the shifter mount it just swivels out when I need to get in and out. I only export one MFD in A-10C because I have trackir to look at the left one, but also I need reference material and teamspeak on the left:
