I'm 6'1 and sit with the seat all the way forward and I'm about an arms length from the screen. It's not as far away as the promo shots suggest.

I've had my Obutto for over 2 years now and it's great if your a flight/racecar simmer. Very easy to switch back and forth. I recently cleaned up all my cables using zip ties and velcro. Usb cables for my x52, CH throttle Quad, Rudder pedals, and wheel I tied all the excess cable in a zip tie, then attach a piece of velcro to the wires, and another below the Obutto wheel plate and the shifter plate. Then I stick all the cables with the velcro. Boom it's out of the way and looks great.
